Football’s very last furlong: our writers expect how the season will end
Who will win the Premier League?
Dominic Fifield: Manchester City. The race with Liverpool must visit the cord, but more squad intensity and enjoyment may simply tilt it closer to the reigning champions. Andy Hunter: Manchester City. For no other reason than backing them before the season started. No Machiavellian past due exchange of horse here. David Hytner: Manchester City will result in all likelihood drop points at Old Trafford; however, can Liverpool win every one of their last games? I assume they may slip up in a single, allowing City to squeak home.
Jamie Jackson: Manchester City because of their satisfactory squad and identity-winning enjoyment. Stuart James: Manchester City. Greater squad depth than Liverpool, plus that name-triumphing know-how, will probably see Pep Guardiola’s side simply side it on the cease. Amy Lawrence: Manchester City. But some nails trying to decide, so I caught with a pre-season preference for the hell of it. Barney Ronay: Manchester City. Two exceptional groups at the top. But City is a standard device. Daniel Taylor: Manchester City. I trade my mind most weeks; however, if they can win at Old Trafford inside the Manchester derby, I think it will be theirs. Louise Taylor: Liverpool. It might be tight, but the wait has been too long on Merseyside, and this is the trophy they truly crave. Paul Wilson: Manchester City. Can’t assist but suppose Liverpool has had their hazard, and City will not slip up once more between now and the cease of the season.
Who will fill the other Champions League locations? DF: Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United. Spurs, once over their blip, and United may have an excessive amount for Arsenal and a stuttering Chelsea. AH: Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United. Liverpool is both first and 2d, and the other two appear more potent than the rest. DH: Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United. Arsenal’s away form has not been accurate sufficient, and they have too many tough avenue trips to come. JJ: Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United. The Ole Gunnar Solskjær “leap” must allow his crew to skip over Arsenal. SJ: Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United. Spurs have had a wobble, but I’d nonetheless back them to come through that, while United has been an exclusive group under Solskjær. Arsenal and Chelsea appear a touch erratic. AL: Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal. Honestly, this is all just like drawing straws.
