The Santa Margarita High School Eagles, who were part of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League, gained their second straight high college country-wide championship once they defeated Edina (Minn.), four-1 the championship recreation in Strongsville, Ohio. Joshua Hyden recorded a hat trick, and goaltender Brandon Yamasaki made 25 saves for the Eagles, who received their third championship in faculty history. They formerly gained in 2013. The Ducks High School Hockey League was launched in 2008 with one crew and has grown to forty-nine groups. Its alumni have gone on to play in NCAA packages, American Collegiate Hockey Assn.
