Santa Margarita wins 2nd immediately national high faculty hockey identify
The Santa Margarita High School Eagles, who were part of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League, gained their second straight high school national championship when they defeated Edina (Minn.), four-1 the championship game in Strongsville, Ohio. Joshua Hyden recorded a hat trick, and goaltender Brandon Yamasaki made 25 saves for the Eagles, who received their third championship in faculty history. They formerly gained in 2013. The Ducks High School Hockey League was launched in 2008 with one crew and has grown to forty-nine teams. Its alumni have gone on to play in NCAA packages, the American Collegiate Hockey Association. Schools, and in junior leagues all through North America.
Former Ducks and Kings forward Craig Johnson coached the Eagles to their identity, with former Ducks Jason Marshall and Ladislav Kohn as assistants. Kaelin Groom, a former Santa Margarita participant, was also an assistant teacher. “We are very proud of the kids and the way they performed,” Johnson stated in a declaration. “They confronted a lot of adversity this year after losing so many key gamers from the remaining year’s group. They found a way to paint through it and persevered. We determined a way to pop out on the pinnacle.”
